Check on Me provides a daily check in service for anyone that would like to feel safer while living alone. Our service includes a friendly call, text, or email, whichever one you prefer, each day. Our preference is to call you though, we want to hear your voice.
We can provide our Check On Me service globally utilizing WhatsApp, FaceTime, and messenger. We usually make the calls in the afternoon through the evening and night. We don’t call in the mornings so that we don’t interrupt people’s schedules.
To begin you will provide us with two contacts that we may call if we can’t reach you. Additionally, if you’re comfortable with this; the location of a lockbox that contains a key to your residence in case we have to call 911 or 999. There are many good reasons to install a lockbox that contains a key and to and provide the code to the lockbox to a person or persons that can provide the code to emergency services or the fire department.
My name is Gnobo, the founder of Check On Me. I have a tremendous amount of concern for people who are home alone. The vulnerable include so many people; the elderly, those that are mobility challenged, the mentally challenged, victims of society, short term health challenges. Some of these folks may have animals at home that they care for. I care very much about people and animals. I have been rescuing animals for many years; often bringing home those that no one else wanted.
We are all living in very fast paced times. The Internet has taken over most of our personal relationships. Materialism is at an all-time high.
Many people are very scattered and most are concerned with their struggle and strife. A famous actor, along with his dog and wife were found deceased in their home, and this is because nine days had passed before anyone had checked on them. Many people today are very alone and dealing with conditions that may not even be their fault, but they are still left within these conditions.
We offer the service to give people a sense of security and a friendly connection to the world by knowing that someone cares enough to contact them each day. To hear a friendly and compassionate voice does much to provide a sense of safety and healing.
There are many people of all ages that have animals, and are afraid that if something happens during the night their animals will suffer before someone decides to reach out.
We do this to prevent this from happening and give you a sense of well-being.
We do this because we care.
Our clients are people of all ages, educational backgrounds, diversified religious beliefs and people who are in unique and also ordinary situations. There is no specific criteria.
They are people who want to be checked on, no matter what their circumstances are. Some are elders or developmentally disabled. People who are depressed and have cut themselves off from the outside world. People who feel suicidal or have debilitating illnesses, people who have been victims in society or who are fearful of society. Hikikomori or agoraphobics, or people who live alone who have many animals.

When my mom's best friend, Ethel, of 80+ years asked my same-age mom to call her every day to make sure she was alright, my mom did so gladly. It was reciprocal. What an amazing and much-needed idea, especially for those living alone who aren't in daily contact with friends or family.
It brought all of us great peace of mind and comfort, knowing this was in place!
I have looked online for a service like Check on Me for quite awhile but was unable to locate one.
I am a single woman who lives alone with my two exotic cats. In the back of my mind, I’ve always had a concern for my cats if something ever happened to me.
My beloved cats would be destined to have a slow death for lack of care.
Once finding this business, I immediately signed up for their service. Check on Me truly elevates my concerns and gives me peace of mind.
This service literally could be a life saver for me &/or my beloved pets.
Thank you so much!
